About the Role

📍 Manchester /  Bolton / Wigan | Full-Time | Audit

Multiple Positions available.

We’re recruiting for an experienced Audit Senior to join a well-established and growing audit team. This role offers exposure to a varied client base, responsibility from planning through to completion, and the opportunity to mentor junior team members while delivering high-quality audit work.

You’ll work closely with Assistant Managers, Managers, and senior stakeholders, playing a key role in both client delivery and team development.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead on-site audit assignments from planning through to completion

  • Execute audit procedures in line with agreed plans, budgets, and deadlines

  • Maintain high audit quality and compliance with auditing standards

  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and providing feedback

  • Prepare audit findings reports, highlighting key risks and issues

  • Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact on-site

  • Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to enhance client delivery

  • Support team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement

  • Proactively develop technical knowledge and audit expertise

What We’re Looking For

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

  • Strong audit and accounts experience within practice

  • Solid understanding of audit quality, risk, and regulatory standards

  • Confident client-facing communicator

  • Experience supervising and supporting junior staff

  • Up-to-date knowledge of FRS and IFRS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with CaseWare and CCH beneficial but not essential
