About the Role
Private Client Tax Advisory Assistant Manager
📍 Chatham or Canterbury (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH) | Full-Time | Private Client Tax Advisory
We’re looking for a proactive and client-focused Private Client Tax Advisory Assistant Manager to join a growing advisory team in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional to play a key role in delivering bespoke private client tax advice while helping expand the advisory offering across the region.
You’ll work closely with senior colleagues, manage your own client relationships, and gain exposure to a wide range of advisory work — all within a supportive, forward-thinking environment that offers genuine career progression.
What You’ll Do

Deliver tailored private client tax advice alongside senior team members

Manage your own client portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor

Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding individual needs

Attend and contribute to client meetings, helping shape advice and solutions

Support business development initiatives, including networking and relationship building

Contribute to the growth of the private client tax advisory offering in Kent

Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider tax team
What We’re Looking For

CTA qualified or qualified by experience

Strong experience managing a private client tax portfolio

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Confident communicator with a client-focused approach

Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues preferred (not a formal people management role)

Proactive, collaborative mindset

Willingness to travel between offices and client sites when required
