About the Role

📍 London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH) | Full-Time | Trusts & Estates

We’re looking for an experienced Trust and Estate Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded Trusts & Estates team in London. You’ll work with a broad and high-quality client base, including trusts, estates, private charities, and high-net-worth families, while leading a team and delivering technically strong advisory and compliance services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in trusts and estates while playing a visible role in client relationships, team leadership, and business development.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and review trust and estate compliance and advisory work

  • Oversee annual trust and estate accounts and tax returns

  • Provide technical advice on trust formation, reorganisations, IHT planning, APR and BPR

  • Lead, train, mentor, and appraise members of the trusts team

  • Manage workflow, billing, WIP, and debtor control to meet financial targets

  • Ensure all statutory deadlines and key dates are met

  • Collaborate with in-house tax teams and solicitors to deliver joined-up client solutions

  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with solicitors and professional referrers

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities across trusts, estates, CGT and IHT

  • Build and grow your own professional network

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience within a Trusts and Estates team

  • Strong technical knowledge of trusts, IHT, CGT, APR and BPR

  • Experience managing and developing professional staff

  • STEP qualified or willing to work towards STEP

  • ATT / CTA or accountancy qualification beneficial but not essential

  • Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
