About the Role
📍 Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) | Full-Time | Accounts & Tax
Join a growing and forward-thinking practice where you’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients. As an Accounts Senior, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the service line to ensure compliance, deliver high-quality work, and provide an exceptional client experience.

What You’ll Do
Client Portfolio Management

Manage a portfolio of individuals and owner-managed businesses

Act as a key point of contact for nominated clients

Attend client meetings and maintain strong working relationships
-
Ensure AML, KYC, and engagement documentation is maintained
Accounts & Tax Compliance
-
Prepare accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders
-
Prepare corporation tax, partnership tax, and personal tax returns
-
Review VAT returns
-
Use cloud-based accounting packages
-
Ensure all work is delivered in line with budgets and quality standards
Workflow & Quality Control

Lead accounts planning meetings
-
Monitor progress and communicate updates to clients and stakeholders

Complete file reviews and clear review points
-
Prepare billing information and monitor WIP
Leadership & Development

Supervise semi-seniors and assistants
-
Provide feedback and support team development
-
Assist other service line members when required
Business Development & Advisory

Support fee growth targets through networking and business development

Contribute to advisory work (business and systems advisory)

Build internal relationships to encourage cross-referral opportunities
What We’re Looking For
-
ACA / ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified, or qualified by experience
-
Strong accounts preparation experience within practice
-
Good technical knowledge across accounts and tax compliance
-
Confident communicator with client-facing experience
-
Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
-
Comfortable supervising and mentoring junior staff
-
Commercially aware with an interest in advisory work
