  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts

  • Post payroll journals and maintain control accounts

  • Manage client finance inboxes and day-to-day queries

  • Support payment runs, supplier payments, and credit control

  • Assist with cashflow tracking and basic forecasting

  • Help improve finance processes, systems, and internal controls

What We’re Looking For

  • AAT Level 4 (or Level 3 with progression toward Level 4)

  • Experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, double entry, and reconciliations

  • Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting software

  • Confident communicator with suppliers, customers, and clients

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

The Kind of Person Who’ll Thrive

  • Professional, reliable, and relationship-driven

  • Proactive and keen to suggest smarter ways of working

  • Confident taking ownership of work and accountability for accuracy

  • Collaborative team player who shares knowledge

  • Organised and able to juggle multiple client priorities

  • Calm and resilient when working to deadlines

  • Invested in supporting clients as part of their extended finance team

What’s on Offer

  • Structured training and learning opportunities

  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with service

  • Birthday day off every year

  • 4pm finish on Fridays

  • Free parking

  • Workplace pension

  • Employee benefits and retail discounts scheme

  • Regular staff socials, team events, and monthly office treats

  • Supportive, collaborative working environment
