📍 Brighton (Hybrid) | Full-Time | Accountancy Practice

We’re working with a fast-growing accountancy firm in Brighton that’s looking for a confident and capable Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. You’ll take ownership of a sizeable portfolio of clients, deliver high-quality bookkeeping services, and help mentor junior staff — all while working in a forward-thinking and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a large and varied client portfolio

• Review accounts and monitor performance targets

• Provide high-quality bookkeeping services, using platforms like Xero and IRIS

• Build lasting client relationships and support business development

• Mentor and support junior team members

• Confidently network and represent the firm professionally

• Handle workload methodically, ensuring deadlines and accuracy

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

What We’re Looking For

• AAT qualified or QBE

• At least 5 years' experience managing a client portfolio

• Experience reviewing accounts and working towards performance targets

• A commercially driven mindset with strong communication skills

• Confident decision-maker with excellent organisational skills

• Experience mentoring or leading others

• Familiarity with IRIS and Xero is a plus

• Right to work in the UK is essential
