About the Role

📍 UK (Hybrid) | Full-Time | Outsourced Finance & Operations

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Outsourced Accounting to lead the launch of a new subscription-based accounting service for SMEs. You’ll play a key role in designing and scaling this offering—driving commercial success, delivering operational excellence, and building a high-performing team.

What You’ll Do

Lead the creation and launch of a scalable outsourced accounting service
Manage operational delivery across onshore and offshore teams
Own workflow design, automation, and tech adoption for process efficiency
Oversee client experience and ensure high service standards
Set and manage budgets, pricing, and performance KPIs
Collaborate across marketing, sales, and technical teams
Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience leading or scaling outsourced accounting or finance functions
Strong knowledge of UK accounting and compliance requirements
Commercial mindset with P&L and pricing strategy experience
Confident with workflow tech, automation tools, and cloud platforms
Track record of building and mentoring teams in fast-paced environments
Collaborative, results-driven, and client-focused
