About the Role
Our client are not like traditional accounting firms, they provide advisory services to help companies become as tax efficient as possible. They believe in having close connections with clients with Quarterly check ins to indentify and understand the good and the bad that the company has faced and help provide solutions. With are large network of contacts from law, tax, investment and funding specialist they can help a company grow and budget for the future instead of looking at Accounts based on past actions. Cloud base data allows us to work on the now and spot opportunities that may have been missed with 1 yearly meeting. They have a close-knit, hard working team of Cloud and Senior Accountants that is going to keep growing over the next few years!

The person will be involved in helping clients convert to cloud software, year-end accounts preparation, accounting adjustments, general bookkeeping, VAT preparation, and management accounts.
It is advantageous to have a good understanding of Xero and Dext (Formally Receipt bank).
Role
- Responsible for the preparation of VAT returns.
- Year-end financial accounts preparation, this includes but not limited to limited companies, partnerships and sole trader.
- Advise and support clients with cloudaccounting software questions.
- Help convert client from manual bookkeeping systems to integrated cloudaccounting systems.
- Provide daily bookkeeping using Xero & Dext
- Organise invoices, expenses, and expense forms into Dext.
- Working with other staff members, to ensure client deadlines are met.
- Other reasonable duties may from time to time be required.
Full paid college study support to become ACCA or ACA accounting qualification also provided.
