Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Meet Our Recruiter
About the Role
📍 Horsham | Part-Time (22.5 Hours Across 3 Days)
Every great office has someone who keeps everything running.
They're the friendly face that welcomes clients.
The calm voice answering the phone.
The person who keeps the day organised while making colleagues' lives a little easier.
If that sounds like you, this could be the perfect opportunity.
We're recruiting on behalf of a growing independent accountancy practice looking for a professional and organised Administrative Assistant to become an important part of their Horsham office.
Your Role
No two days are exactly the same.
You'll be involved in a variety of administrative tasks that help keep the office running efficiently, including:
- Greeting clients and visitors.
- Answering and directing incoming calls.
- Preparing meeting rooms and facilities.
- Managing emails, post and document scanning.
- Booking meeting rooms.
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider team.
You'll be one of the first people clients interact with, so professionalism, organisation and a friendly approach are key.
What We're Looking For
You'll enjoy helping people, staying organised and taking pride in creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent communication skills.
- A professional and welcoming manner.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
Previous experience within an accountancy practice would be an advantage, but it's certainly not essential.
Why This Opportunity?
Administrative professionals often become the heartbeat of a business.
This role offers the chance to join a friendly, supportive team where your contribution will be recognised from day one.
If you're looking for a varied part-time position where you'll genuinely make a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
Benefits
- Part-time hours (22.5 hours across three days).
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata).
- Pension scheme.
- Enhanced maternity and paternity pay.
- Cycle to Work scheme.
- Free flu jabs.
- Regular social events.
- Long-term career opportunities within a growing practice.
