About the Role

📍 Hybrid (2+ days in office) | Full-Time | VAT Services

We’re looking for a commercially minded and technically strong VAT Manager to join our growing specialist team. You’ll play a key role in providing high-level VAT advisory services while supporting litigation, compliance, and team development — all within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

What You’ll Do

Advise on complex VAT issues, including property transactions, digital services, and place of supply
Draft instructions to Tax Counsel and assist on dispute resolution and tribunal matters
Conduct VAT reviews and due diligence for a wide range of clients
Manage client and internal VAT queries across the firm
Assist with training, mentoring, and development of junior team members
Support technical content creation, including writing and webinars
Collaborate on litigation and business development initiatives with the VAT Partner

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in VAT, ideally in an accountancy firm
CTA qualified (or equivalent), or working towards it
Strong working knowledge of UK VAT law and HMRC procedures
Excellent communication and drafting skills, with client-facing confidence
Team player with great attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Comfortable delivering training and public speaking engagements
