Personal Tax Supervisor

📍 London (Hybrid) | Full-Time | Private Client Services

We’re looking for a proactive and technically strong Personal Tax Supervisor to join a growing team. You’ll manage a diverse client portfolio, supporting HNWIs, entrepreneurs, and globally mobile individuals with compliance and bespoke tax advice — while building your leadership and advisory credentials in a forward-thinking environment.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring deadlines are met

• Prepare and review complex tax returns using CCH

• Liaise with HMRC on client matters and manage tax enquiries

• Support ad-hoc consultancy projects, including client letters and reports

• Attend client meetings and provide clear, practical tax advice

• Undertake technical research on issues such as remittance basis, CGT, IHT, and trusts

• Identify new business opportunities within your portfolio

• Monitor WIP and billing to ensure timely and accurate invoicing

• Support junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

What We’re Looking For

• CTA qualified with strong personal tax knowledge

• Previous experience managing tax compliance cycles and client portfolios

• Proficient in personal tax software (CCH preferred) and tax research platforms (Croner-i, LexisNexis)

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• High attention to detail and excellent time management skills

• Confident in a client-facing role, with the ability to build trust and rapport

• Proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach

• Evidence of continuous CPD and desire to keep developing professionally
