Finance Business Partner / Client Manager

Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and helping businesses succeed?

We're recruiting for a Finance Business Partner / Client Manager to join a modern, advisory-led accountancy practice in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, interpreting financial information, and acting as a trusted advisor to business owners.

Unlike traditional practice roles, you'll spend less time in compliance and more time supporting clients with meaningful financial insights and commercial decision-making.

What You'll Do

Client Relationship Management

• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients
• Build long-term relationships with business owners
• Provide clear, practical financial advice
• Deliver exceptional client service and support

Advisory & Business Partnering

• Lead quarterly and annual planning discussions
• Review management accounts and identify key trends
• Help clients understand opportunities, risks, and performance
• Support business growth through strategic financial insight

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts teams
• Champion client needs internally
• Monitor client engagement, renewals, and billing

What We're Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience within accountancy practice
• Comfortable managing client relationships
• Experience reviewing management accounts
• Ability to explain financial information clearly
• Organised and capable of managing multiple clients
• Experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software
