Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and helping businesses succeed?

We're recruiting for a Finance Business Partner / Client Manager to join a modern, advisory-led accountancy practice in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, interpreting financial information, and acting as a trusted advisor to business owners.

Unlike traditional practice roles, you'll spend less time in compliance and more time supporting clients with meaningful financial insights and commercial decision-making.

What You'll Do

Client Relationship Management

Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients
Build long-term relationships with business owners
Provide clear, practical financial advice
Deliver exceptional client service and support

Advisory & Business Partnering

Lead quarterly and annual planning discussions
Review management accounts and identify key trends
Help clients understand opportunities, risks, and performance
Support business growth through strategic financial insight

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts teams
Champion client needs internally
Monitor client engagement, renewals, and billing

What We're Looking For

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience within accountancy practice
Comfortable managing client relationships
Experience reviewing management accounts
Ability to explain financial information clearly
Organised and capable of managing multiple clients
Experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software
