Corporate Tax Manager
📍 Horsham (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH) | Full-Time | Corporate Tax | Occasional Travel (Sussex, Kent & London)

We’re looking for a highly skilled and commercially minded Corporate Tax Manager to join our team in Horsham. This role combines technical excellence in compliance with the opportunity to lead on a wide range of advisory projects across industries. You'll manage your own portfolio of clients and mentor a small team while being part of a wider tax service line of nearly 100 professionals.
What You’ll Do

Manage a portfolio of complex corporate tax clients including entrepreneurial growth businesses, international groups, FCA-regulated entities and listed PLCs

Balance 50% compliance and 50% advisory work across a broad range of tax planning and structuring assignments (demergers, loan relationships, EIS, R&D, DD, share schemes, etc.)

Review detailed corporate tax computations and ensure accurate, compliant submissions

Guide clients on UK and international tax structuring, working collaboratively with global tax colleagues

Lead and mentor a small Horsham-based team, providing training and support

Act as main point of contact for a selection of premium clients

Stay updated with evolving tax legislation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Liaise with stakeholders across the wider business to provide tax insight and solutions
What We’re Looking For

CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) with demonstrable experience in corporate tax
-
Experience in reviewing complex compliance work and leading advisory engagements

A proactive, detail-focused problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Exposure to international tax issues (double tax relief, transfer pricing, CFCs) beneficial

Previous experience managing and mentoring junior team members

Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen

Willingness to travel occasionally between regional offices and to client sites
