We're looking for an ambitious Accounts Senior to join a growing accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone currently working as an Accounts Semi Senior who's ready for greater ownership, more client interaction and a clear pathway towards Assistant Manager.

What Your Next Chapter Could Look Like
You'll start by managing your own portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses while working closely with senior members of the team.
As your confidence and experience develop, so will your responsibilities.
Over time, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Take ownership of a growing client portfolio.
- Become the main point of contact for your clients.
- Develop your advisory skills.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Progress towards Assistant Manager.
Your Day-to-Day
No two days are the same.
You'll be involved in:
- Preparing year-end accounts.
- Preparing business and personal tax returns.
- Bookkeeping assignments.
- Supporting clients with accounting queries.
- Using Xero and QuickBooks.
- Working alongside colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience.
Who We're Looking For
This role would suit someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in producing quality work and wants to continue progressing within practice.
You'll ideally have:
- At least three years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing accounts for owner-managed businesses.
- Good bookkeeping knowledge.
- Experience using Xero and QuickBooks.
- Strong communication skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take on more responsibility.
