Meet Our Recruiter
About the Role
📍 Brighton | Part-Time (15–22.5 Hours)
Looking for a part-time practice role where you can continue developing your accounting skills?
This isn't a role where you'll spend every day doing the same task.
You'll support a growing service charge team, working across bookkeeping, accounts preparation, trust tax returns and client administration, giving you exposure to a varied workload while building specialist knowledge that's increasingly in demand.
Whether you're returning to practice, looking for flexibility or simply want a part-time role within a supportive team, this is an excellent opportunity to continue developing your career.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the Service Charge Manager, you'll support a growing portfolio of clients by:
- Preparing draft service charge accounts.
- Producing dormant company accounts using IRIS.
- Preparing draft trust tax returns.
- Verifying invoices and financial information.
- Supporting client communication as your experience develops.
- Assisting with portfolio management.
- Helping improve workflows as the department continues to grow.
The role offers genuine variety, with the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.
Who We're Looking For
You'll already have experience working within an accountancy practice and enjoy producing accurate work while keeping organised.
You'll ideally have:
- At least three years' practice experience.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage your own workload.
Experience with IRIS, AAT qualifications and service charge accounts would be advantageous, but training will be provided where required.
